"Daddy’s Money" is The Mood’s catchy and satirical middle finger towards a privileged section of their own generation who are accustomed to getting everything handed to them. Inspired by real people who the band have had the displeasure to meet, the lyrics humorously depict the world of spoilt young musician, whose career, friendships and night life are only propped up by the seemingly endless reservoir of Daddy's Money, and without it, they’d be nothing.
